JSWP Orientation: Expository/Informational Writing Across-the-Curriculum

Participants will walk away from this orientation with the knowledge of how to provide consistency in teaching academic writing across all content areas. You will receive an introduction of how teachers in all subjects can support expository and informational student writing and, at the same time, assess students’ knowledge of the topics being taught. You will be introduced to the Jane Schaffer® method of writing, a unique way to build writing and thinking skills in all students.
