This webinar provides PK-5 elementary educators with professional development in teaching the Jane Schaffer Academic Writing Program to elementary students.
Participants will receive a Teacher's Guide and Student Masters for introducing JSWP® to their students as well as the Personal and Fictional Narrative Teacher's Guide and Student Masters.
In this workshop, participants will learn
- the JSWP terminology, color-coding, and methodology;
- essential elements; and
- discerning concrete details vs. commentary.

- The recording's viewing window will be available the following day from 12:00 (CDT) until 12:00 P.M. (CDT) 48-hours later. The price for the recorded session is higher than the live session because the recorded session requires homework assignments, graded by a National Trainer. For participants registered for the recording, certificates will be issued upon completion of a submitted portfolio of assignments.

Requests for a full refund must be received in writing three weeks prior to the first session. Once materials are shipped (two weeks prior to first session) cancellations may be made up to seven days prior to the first session for a refund minus the cost of materials and shipping. No refunds will be offered within seven days of the training or for no-shows.
Participants attending live sessions must attend at least 80% of the live training to earn a certificate of completion.
